"Manbroiderers," or men who stitch, are becoming more and more common and bring a unique perspective to the cross stitch and textile design community. This video features Jamie "Mr X Stitch" Chalmers, Stitcher Moose, and Kaffe Fassett. It also shows some traditional textile patterns and discusses design ideas for men's cross stitch projects. Hopefully this video will inspire more men to take up the wonderfully relaxing pastime of stitching!
*I forgot to discuss Fine Cell Work, an incredible British organization that helps incarcerated prisoners (95% male) learn skills and earn money by learning how to stitch. How these men's lives are changed by stitching is truly inspiring. The link to the site is below.
